BIST 100 Index Movement
The BIST 100 index started the week at a low of 9,274.55 and reached a high of 9,838.01, ultimately closing the week at 9,685.49 points, which is a decrease of 0.88% compared to the previous week’s closing.
Gold Prices Update
The gram selling price of 24-carat gold in the Grand Bazaar increased by 2.29% this week, reaching 2,812 lira, while the selling price of the republic gold rose by 0.89% to 18,507 lira.
The selling price of a quarter gold, which was 4,605 lira last weekend, has now increased to 4,650 lira.
Currency Exchange Rates
This week, the US dollar depreciated by 0.16% to 33.9250 lira, while the euro declined by 0.19% to 37.6260 lira.
Investment Fund Performance
Investment funds lost 0.89% in value this week, while pension funds decreased by 0.97%.
Among the categories of investment funds, the “Money Market” funds provided the highest return, with an increase of 0.98%.
