BIST 100 Index Performance
The BIST 100 index ended the week at 9,833.22 points, gaining 1.71% compared to the previous week’s close, after reaching a low of 9,523.25 and a high of 9,888.40.
Gold Prices in Turkey
This week, the price of 24-carat gold bullion increased by 0.33%, reaching 2,757 Turkish Lira per gram, while the sale price of the Republic gold rose by 2.28% to 18,722 Turkish Lira.
The price of a quarter gold coin, which was 4,590 Turkish Lira last weekend, has increased to 4,617 Turkish Lira.
Currency Exchange Rates
This week, the US dollar appreciated by 0.20%, reaching 34.0690 Turkish Lira, while the euro decreased by 0.82% to 37.6870 Turkish Lira.
Investment Funds Performance
Investment funds lost 0.23% this week, and pension funds decreased by 0.41%. Within the investment funds, the “Money Market” funds provided the highest return, gaining 0.80%.
