Global stocks dipped on Tuesday as investors awaited updates on the U.S.-China trade negotiations and Brexit. The MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan fell 0.15%. In Europe, the STOXX 600 index was down 0.2%. U.S. stock futures were also in the red, with the S&P 500 e-mini futures down 0.13%. The declines came after reports that the U.S. was considering lifting tariffs on Chinese goods to hasten a trade deal. Meanwhile, Brexit uncertainty continued to weigh on European markets as hopes for a smooth transition diminished.
