According to the weekly bulletin of the Capital Markets Board (SPK), the Board has approved the capital increase applications without consideration for Kervan Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ amounting to 1.92 billion lira, Inveo Yatırım Holding AŞ amounting to 760 million lira, and Lider Faktoring AŞ amounting to 304 million 560 thousand lira.
Approval was granted for the debt instrument issuance applications of Garanti Faktoring AŞ amounting to 7.375 billion lira, VDF Filo Kiralama AŞ amounting to 1.45 billion lira, Carrefoursa Carrefour Sabancı Ticaret Merkezi AŞ amounting to 5 billion lira, Aztek Teknoloji Ürünleri Ticaret AŞ amounting to 1.2 billion lira, Opet Petrolcülük AŞ amounting to 3 billion lira, Bilkom Bilişim Hizmetleri AŞ amounting to 1.85 billion lira, and Borlease Otomotiv AŞ amounting to 300 million lira.
The Board positively evaluated the request for the establishment of a crowdfunding platform by West and East Global Kitle Fonlama Platformu AŞ alongside MT Portfolio Management AŞ’s Variable Umbrella Fund, MT Portfolio Management AŞ’s Equity Umbrella Fund, MT Portfolio Management AŞ’s Money Market Umbrella Fund, and MT Portfolio Management AŞ’s Free Umbrella Fund.
The decision was made to authorize Tera Yatırım Bankası AŞ to provide portfolio custody services within the framework of the Board’s “Principles for Portfolio Custody Services and Organizations Providing These Services” communiqué. Additionally, Başkent Menkul Değerler AŞ was authorized as a partially authorized intermediary institution, allowing it to engage in transaction brokerage activities and provide limited custody services.
ADMINISTRATIVE FINES AND CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS
As a result of its review, the SPK imposed administrative fines of 493 thousand lira on TFG İstanbul Menkul Değerler AŞ, 155 thousand 567 lira on Yeditepe Independent Audit and Certified Public Accountant AŞ, and 1 million 921 thousand 326 lira on Invest AZ Yatırım Menkul Değerler AŞ.
Following an investigation into the use of funds obtained from the capital increase by Yeşil Yatırım Holding AŞ between June 8-22, 2021, fines totaling 2 million 24 thousand lira were imposed on Yeşil Yatırım Holding AŞ and four individuals. Furthermore, as a result of an investigation regarding transactions conducted in the equity market involving Özerden Ambalaj Sanayi AŞ, fines totaling 106 million 484 thousand lira were agreed upon for Erdem Petrol Ürünleri San. Paz. Ltd. Şti. and ten individuals.
As part of investigations conducted under the Capital Markets Law No. 6362 and relevant legislation, the Board decided to file criminal complaints against 10 individuals and 6 content providers, while imposing a two-year ban on trading in exchanges and organized other markets for 7 individuals and 1 legal entity.
It was resolved to take necessary legal measures, in accordance with Article 99, fourth paragraph of the Capital Markets Law, to block access to 54 websites identified as facilitating leveraged trading for individuals residing in Turkey.
