Investors participating in this funding round include angel investors such as Mehmet Çelikol and Ersin Nazalı from Sharks & Partners, as well as Umur Özkal, the CEO of Arvato. The venture connects dentists with dental warehouses.
Dentalpiyasa enables dentists to access all the materials they use in their clinics directly from manufacturers and importers without intermediaries. According to the information shared by the startup, one out of every five dentists in Turkey currently uses the platform. It is also noted that 85% of medium and large-scale dental warehouses in Turkey sell their products through the platform.
According to shared information, the venture has delivered over 150,000 products to dentists to date. Mustafa Kemal Bilgiç, one of the co-founders of dentalpiyasa.com, stated that they have experienced rapid growth since embarking on their journey to fundamentally transform the supply system for dental products in 2021, with the platform showing tenfold growth in the past year.
The company plans to use the funds obtained to address the logistics-related challenges in the dental sector. Additionally, they indicated that the investment would be used to develop an artificial intelligence assistant that helps doctors select the right products during treatment processes.
Mehmet Çelikol, an investor from Sharks & Partners, mentioned that the company’s aggressive growth and high customer satisfaction, coupled with its excellent corporate culture and team spirit, have positively impacted the organization.
