The BIST 100 index ended the week at 10,471.32 points, gaining 3.28% compared to the previous week’s close, after reaching a low of 9,958.11 and a high of 10,575.98.
2% INCREASE IN GOLD
This week, the gram selling price of 24-karat gold traded in the Grand Bazaar rose by 2.04% to 2,450 lira, while the selling price of the Republic gold increased by 0.44% to 15,970 lira.
The selling price of a quarter gold, which was 3,930 lira last weekend, has increased to 4,010 lira.
DOLLAR INCREASED, EURO LIMITED DROP
This week, the US dollar gained 1.31%, rising to 32.6860 lira, while the euro decreased by 0.01% to 34.9060 lira.
THE MOST PROFITABLE INVESTMENT FUND
Investment funds gained 0.30% this week, while individual pension funds increased by 0.73%.
When looking at the categories, the “Equity” funds within investment funds showed the highest return at 1.00%.
