Turkish Airlines (THY) shares stood out positively, gaining 1.58% and trading at 273.50 TL. This increase was significantly influenced by substantial purchases made by Bank of America and İnfo Yatırım.

Bank of America and İnfo Yatırım’s Significant Purchases

On the trading day, Bank of America clients conducted a total of 5,681,501 lots in THY shares. Of these transactions, 3,093,746 lots were purchases, while 2,587,755 lots were sales. By the end of the day, Bank of America had net purchases of 505,991 lots of THY shares, with an average purchase price of 273.856 TL. The net value of daily purchases amounted to 138,568,652 TL. Meanwhile, İnfo Yatırım clients executed a total of 3,279,585 lots in THY shares on the same day. Of these, 1,841,144 lots were purchases and 1,438,441 lots were sales. By the end of the day, İnfo Yatırım had net purchases of 402,703 lots of THY shares, with an average purchase price of 274.824 TL. The net value of their daily purchases was recorded at 110,672,568 TL.

Sales in THY Shares

In contrast to the substantial purchases by Bank of America and İnfo Yatırım, Ak Yatırım and HSBC stood out on the sales side for THY shares. Ak Yatırım sold 395,873 lots, while HSBC sold 276,707 lots.

THY shares closed the day with an increase due to the combined purchase of approximately 1.3 billion TL by Bank of America and İnfo Yatırım. This situation reflects the investors’ confidence in the future of THY.
