Announcement of Changes to the Regulation on State Aids in Investments

The “Regulation on Amendments to the Decision on the Implementation of State Aids in Investments,” prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, has been published in the Official Gazette.

Incentives for Female and Young Employment

According to the new regulation, additional employer contributions to insurance premiums aimed at female or young employment will be provided to investors.

Eligibility for the İSPİH Support

The İSPİH support will be applicable to the incentive documents issued for applications made after June 29, 2021.

To benefit from this support, investors must apply to the Social Security Institution (SGK) within three months following the end of their employer contribution insurance premium support period recorded in the investment incentive document.

Conditions for Support Calculation

The number of employees eligible for İSPİH support will be calculated based on women or young individuals (aged between 18 and 26) who have benefited from a total of 360 days of premium payments, excluding incomplete days such as part-time work, sick leave, or unpaid leave, under the employer contribution insurance premium support recorded in the incentive documents.

Limitations on Support Amount

The amount of support received cannot exceed the maximum support amount specified in the incentive document, including the employer contribution to insurance premiums that the investor benefits from. Additionally, the number of employees calculated cannot exceed the additional employment number recorded in the incentive document.

Reporting Requirements for Beneficiaries

For investors eligible for İSPİH support, information such as company name, incentive document number, workplace registration number, number of employees, tax office, and number, support start period, and duration of support will be reported by SGK to the Ministry once a month.
