Eletromidia has just announced the acquisition of 4yousee, a transaction that marks the company’s entry into the software as a service market.
4yousee is the leader in Brazil’s digital signage market, providing the software behind screens displaying product information used in fast-food restaurants, gas stations, and gyms, for example.
4yousee’s software is already in more than 40,000 screens today, and Eletromidia’s expectation is to significantly expand the business.
“The digital signage market has great potential to grow in the coming years. It is a market that we can help develop,” CEO Alexandre Guerrero told Brazil Journal.
The acquisition of 4yousee brings additional benefits. The company has developed a data and analytics platform for ‘out of home’ media, helping to measure the results of campaigns, including using sensors and cameras to capture this information.
“This brings a greater value generation capability for the brands that are with us, helping in our growth,” said the CEO.
The value of the acquisition was not disclosed, as well as 4yousee’s numbers. Guerrero said that Eletromidia considered the intangible value and that 4yousee is “small compared to the size of Eletromidia.”
Eletromidia stated that Joaquim Lopes and Wemerson Silva, the operational partners of 4yousee, will continue in the company, leading the business.
The two will have a five-year incentive program, tied to the results.
