The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised its global economic growth forecast for 2021 to 6%, up from its earlier prediction of 5.5%. The organization cited increasing vaccination rates and additional policy support in some countries as reasons for the upgrade. However, the IMF warned that the recovery remains uneven and urged policymakers to continue providing targeted fiscal support. The IMF also highlighted the importance of international cooperation in ensuring a sustainable and inclusive recovery from the pandemic.
