Kodgem, a company focused on wearable health technologies aimed at improving the quality of life for office workers, has secured a $150,000 seed investment. Notable participants in this funding round include Mert İnanç Emir, Ferhat Ertürk, and Osman Ertürk.

We previously shared an in-depth look at Kodgem’s innovative approach in an article here. The startup is gaining attention with its wearable technology called “Straight,” which addresses one of today’s most common health issues: poor posture. This device, specially designed for individuals who work at desks, monitors the user’s posture and provides smart vibrations to alert them against bad posture habits.

Straight not only detects posture errors but also assists users in achieving better posture in their daily lives. To date, over 20,000 users have improved their posture thanks to Straight technology.

Kodgem continues to expand its presence in the global market by exporting to over 20 countries. The company’s innovative approach has also led to the development of Straight+, an AI-powered posture coach that enhances its offerings. Thanks to artificial intelligence, the device analyzes the user’s posture throughout the day, providing alerts only when necessary, thereby minimizing unnecessary vibrations. Straight+ elevates the user experience by offering personalized reports, providing a long-term solution to posture-related issues.
