New research service, NFCW, uncovers the future of NFC and contactless technology

The European Union (EU) is considering implementing a digital tax to target large tech giants such as Google and Facebook. The tax would be based on where the digital services are provided rather than where the companies are based. This move is aimed at ensuring that tech companies pay their fair share of taxes in Europe. France and Germany have been pushing for this tax, but some other EU members are concerned about retaliation from the United States. The proposal is still in the early stages and will likely face further negotiations and discussions before any implementation.
