Turkish Central Bank Weekly Securities Statistics Released
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) has published its Weekly Securities Statistics.
Accordingly, non-residents purchased a net total of $124.2 million in stocks during the week of July 19, while selling $700 million in Government Domestic Debt Securities (GDDS) and $10.5 million in assets outside the general government sector.
As of July 12, the total stock of stocks held by non-residents, which was $41.052 billion, increased to $41.448 billion by July 19.
During the same period, the stock of GDDS held by non-residents decreased from $13.174 billion to $12.292 billion, while the stock of other sector assets fell from $423.7 million to $410.9 million.
