This production facility will meet the needs of the Turkish market while also focusing on exports to Balkan countries and other markets in the EU region. We began discussions with the Ministry of Industry and Technology months ago regarding manufacturing in Turkey. Additionally, we are in talks with the Ministry of Trade and the Presidential Investment Office. We are actively communicating with strong local partners for our new projects. However, the final decision on the investment project will depend on the support measures provided by the government.”
Plans for Hybrid and Electric Vehicles
Chernov mentioned that they plan to produce a range of commercial vehicles, as well as modern hybrid and electric vehicles in Turkey, stating, “We are actively working to clarify all details and hope for the government’s support and active assistance in this matter.”

SWM Turkey’s Commercial Director Burak Azmanoğlu highlighted the strong interest in the brand within Turkey, sharing the following information:
“With recent changes in legal regulations, we have started to reassess our existing business model to include local production options. Turkey is a region with high potential for long-term business development. We have established a professional and strong dealer network, and new partners continue to join us.”
We support our customers through our expanding dealer network in after-sales services and spare parts supply. The first batch of vehicles has already hit the roads across Turkey. The feedback from initial customers has been very positive, and we have made significant efforts to enhance the brand’s image in Turkey.
Our goal is to continue offering high-quality SUV models at competitive prices to Turkish customers, and we will keep investing in the development of our operations in Turkey until we reach the desired position.
