The European Innovation Council (EIC) recently announced the selection of 72 deep tech scale-up companies that will join the EIC Scaling Club, of which Webrazzi is a key stakeholder. The new members of the community were revealed during the Scale 100 Forum event held in Athens on October 21-22.

The EIC Scaling Club offers comprehensive support to selected deep tech scale-up companies, including financial assistance, mentorship, corporate collaboration opportunities, media visibility, and recruitment resources. The organization aims to accelerate the growth of its members and aspires for 20% of them to achieve unicorn status.

During the event, EIC Scaling Club Leader Teresa Cunha stated, “We are proud to support a diverse group of 120 companies operating in 10 significant deep tech markets as part of the EIC Scaling Club. These companies have collectively raised over €3.4 billion in funding. With the support of over 400 active club members, these companies are well-positioned to tackle global challenges in their sectors, and I have no doubt they will realize their full potential.”

The selected sectors include Agriculture and Food Technologies, Batteries and Energy Storage, Cardiovascular Treatments, Clean Fuels and Hydrogen, New Biotechnology Platforms, and New Space Technologies.

The launch of the EIC Trusted Investor Network was also announced.
