Kalekim Chemical Materials Industry and Trade Inc. (KLKIM) announced in a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform that Murat Gönültaş, who has served in various roles at the company since 2000, is stepping down as General Manager. In a decision made at the company’s Board of Directors meeting on October 21, 2024, it was decided that Kerem Kürklü will be appointed as the General Manager effective January 6, 2025.
# Who is Kerem Kürklü?
Kerem Kürklü, a graduate of Middle East Technical University in Mechanical Engineering, completed his master’s degree in Innovation Management and Economics at Chalmers University. He began his career as a Business Development and Technology Manager at Temsa, and later served as the Market Development Manager at Kordsa. In 2012, Kürklü joined the 3M Group, where he held director positions across various business units and markets. From 2021 to 2023, he served as the General Manager for Europe and the Middle East at Avery Dennison. Most recently, Kürklü held the position of CEO at Onduline Eurasia and is now starting a new role as General Manager at Kalekim.
